I was born and raised in Salt Lake City. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Utah. I then attended medical school at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia. I completed my residency at Vanderbilt in Nashville Tennessee, and finished my fellowship in Michigan with world renowned surgeon Dr. Thomas Spoor. After a few years in North Carolina as an associate professor at Duke University, and after a couple of years starting and running a medical spa, my wife and I chose to move to Florida to raise our children and enjoy the excellent weather. During my training and subsequent teaching, I developed a special interest in ocular and facial trauma. I was able to sharpen my surgical skills, becoming expert in the very latest surgical techniques. With my surgical skills and knowledge base, I am able to offer the very latest surgical advances; which shortens anesthesia time, decreases bruising and swelling, and reduces recovery time leading to exceptional outcomes.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and five children. My other interests include: Golfing, weight lifting, water skiing, football, tennis, attending movies, and reading good books.
